XT4 Revamp by Sparkytron XT4 Revamp by Sparkytron
"The new TX4 model is an improvement of the older XT4 model. TX4 stands for "Tougher XT4 with 4 spinning blades". The TX4 models are easily reprogrammed to fit all your needs, from slicing vegetables to taking over the galaxy. "

~Makuro Industries

The only way I wanted to revamp XT4 was by giving him a spinning function. Because all cartoon robots that have sawblades can do that, right?

Those panels at his head were added to give his body build an "X" shape with the spinning function at the intersection.

That is quite an improvement upon the original, he looks pretty cool. Those fins on the back really do add to the look, especially the one with caution tape. Same for the leg shaping, marvelous work there.

This isn't normal revamping, this is advanced revamping... Very nicely done.

Reminds me of Metal Gear Ray due to those wing things...

That last bit in the 'company quote' made me smile.
And the spinny midsection is.. spinny. And bladey.
Spinny blades!!
I really like how this revamp looks. I think the hazard stripes fit well here, and I like the wings.. or whatever those are.
And the spinny function. Spinny spinny spinny!! :p

Best generally same size XT4 revamp ever.

I like to keep revamps about the same size. With this one, increasing the size would result in a ridiculous looking MOC with a tiny head. :p

 Solid Revamp man. I wasn't quite sure what you meant by spinning. I kinda thought it meant the whole upper half spins. I'm glad you included a link to an animation of it. That's pretty rad man!

You used that new gear piece from the Evo XL walker huh?

Yeah it is that piece I believe. I had it from a technic set. I hope I can get my hands on that set soon because EVO XL walker has some pieces I really want.

Like what? The problem I have with the Mechs is besides the figs, cockpit parts and that goofy lookin canister thing everything else is stuff we already have in other sets. It looks good for parts but that's about it I guess.

Which technic set did you get that part in? I'd like to get more technic but anything outside of $20-30 is outside of my price range. I sometimes have more money than that, but I don't wanna blow it all on one thing. I like spreading my money out over several interests and purchases.

EVO XL is full with pieces I want. Three XT4 torso's, size 5 yellow shell armor, Metallic grey hand, yellow exo force arms, trans green thornax launchers, trans green canister, cockpit part and a adorable Evo minifigure. So yeah, I really want that set :3

I got that gear part in this set brickset.com/sets/9391-1/Track… . Some cool pieces for and not too expensive IMO.

That makes sense. I want it for the technic bit in there, the extra bones and yeah the larger yellow armor. The cockpit stuff doesn't interest me. But I suppose the Minifig might be fun. Maybe its arms and legs are useful?

Oh wow. I've had many chances to get that set and I passed it up cause it didn't look like it had anything too special in it. Huh if I find one cheap do you recommend it?

I actually bought it for the wire and track parts because I didn't had those yet.

But without that set I wouldn't have been able to build XT4, Clockwork Bird would have less gears, Junk Lord (sparkytron.deviantart.com/art/… wouldn't have his crane arm and Arenam (sparkytron.deviantart.com/art/… wouldn't have his bow. So yeah that particular set have been proven useful for me :D. I have yet to use the track parts but I'm sure I find some use for them.

Wire? You mean the sting?

I see. But the links didn't work for some reason. I have some of the bigger variant of tracks. I've only used them as tracks on Magmakrok. Bionicle MOC: Magmakrok by 3rdeye88 then as hair on Isra. Bionicle MOC: Isra by 3rdeye88 Don't these smaller ones work just like technic chain?

Yeah, wrong translation on my end.

Yeah, except they don't have as much connection possibilities like the larger ones
